NIKCO.LOG collects only the information needed to assess transport enquiries, review routes and cargo, and respond to users. This page explains what we collect and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Your name or company name, when provided voluntarily;
- Your telephone number and country calling code;
- Origin, destination, transport mode, and cargo details;
- Optional information such as weight, volume, quantity, container type, and technical notes;
- The submission page, submission time, and UTM parameters when you arrive through a campaign;
- Limited technical data required for security and spam prevention. Your IP address is used only as a temporary hashed identifier to limit repeated submissions.
How we use the information
We use the information to assess transport feasibility, identify suitable routes and modes, prepare or follow up a freight quotation, answer your enquiry, coordinate operations, and protect the form from abuse. We do not use quote-form information for unrelated advertising or marketing messages unless you have given separate, clear permission.
Who may receive the information
Access is limited to authorised members of the NIKCO.LOG team. When necessary to assess or perform your request, the minimum relevant information may be shared with carriers, agents, ports, terminals, customs brokers, or technical service providers involved in that case. We do not sell personal information. Information is disclosed to public authorities only when required by a valid legal obligation.
International transfers
International transport may require coordination with partners or service providers in the origin, destination, or transit countries. In those cases, only information necessary for assessing or performing the request is transferred, in line with the recipient’s role.
Retention
Quote requests and related correspondence are kept only as long as needed to respond, follow up a business enquiry, provide services, or meet legal obligations. Enquiries that do not result in a contract are generally reviewed within 24 months and deleted when there is no valid reason to retain them. The form’s technical rate limit expires after approximately 30 seconds.
Cookies and external services
The site may use essential WordPress and language-preference cookies. The quote form currently uses no advertising cookies. The contact page loads an OpenStreetMap map and Leaflet technical files; those providers may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address and browser type when that page is viewed. WhatsApp and Google Maps links take you to independent services governed by their own privacy policies.
Information security
We use proportionate technical and organisational controls to reduce unauthorised access, automated submissions, and accidental disclosure. No internet transmission or storage method can, however, be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
Your rights and choices
You may ask what information we hold about you and, subject to applicable law, request access, correction, or deletion. You may also withdraw consent where a processing activity relies on consent; this does not affect lawful processing carried out before withdrawal.
Privacy enquiries
For privacy-related requests, email info@nikco-log.com. Please include only the information needed to identify the request and your quote reference number, if available.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we collect or use information changes. Last updated: September 4, 2026.
